Kids
We believe that children are a valued and important part of the church family.
As a church family we provide our kids with a safe environment to explore God, take bold steps of faith, and to allow friendships to flourish!
In both our structured kids work, and in our wider church activities, Safeguarding steps are in place to protect kids. If you’d like to understand more about this, please ask to see our Safeguarding statement, or get in touch with one of the Kids leaders.
Structured Kids work
Mini Kids runs on Sunday mornings during the service for 0-4 year olds.
Through Bible stories, songs, games, and creative activities, we provide a safe space for kids to encounter the love of God through Jesus.
Bridge Kids runs on Sunday mornings for 4-11 year olds.
At this age we explore the Bible and begin to encourage personal prayer and study. We also encourage a mindset based on curiosity, touching on some of the wider questions such as science & faith, good & evil, and personal responsibility.
MINI-KIDS TOGETHER (0-5 years old)
Our youngest children meet to play, sing and take part in Bible-based activities.
BRIDGE KIDS TOGETHER (5-11 years old)
Children in school years 1-6 meet for a mix of fun, games, creative and interactive Bible-based stories and activities.
SAFEGUARDING
Bridge Church Newbury takes the safeguarding and protection of children and vulnerable adults in our care very seriously.
All our Kids and Youth team volunteers are DBS approved and given training on our safeguarding policy.
Have fun, grow faith, build friendships!
