Sunday
meetings

We are an inclusive church made up of a diverse congregation from all walks of life. We believe everyone is welcome to come and listen to God’s word with us.

Bridge church Newbury meets on Sunday mornings at Trinity School in Newbury from 10am with tea, coffee and biscuits. This is a chance to meet the other visitors, regulars and church leaders before the service starts at 10.30a.m.

You can expect a warm welcome and relaxed atmosphere as you join in. This is roughly how the morning meeting will go:

TIMELINE

10am: Coffee, tea & refreshments in the foyer

10.30am: Meeting begins with sung worship

11.10am: Notices and testimonies

11.20am: Bible-based talk and prayer

12.00 noon: Meeting ends

At 10.30a.m. you are welcome to bring your hot drinks and snacks into the service. The service is a relaxed, informal meeting.

There is a main seating area downstairs and a more spaced out seating area on the upper level, which can suit parents with prams and people with mobility scooters or wheelchairs.

The service starts with singing (to modern and sometimes traditional) worship songs, led by our talented musicians. This is then followed by notices, testimonies and Biblical teaching led by members of our preaching team. The service usually ends at noon, but you are welcome to stay on for prayer or to catch up with friends, old and new.

We are part of the Commission group of churches and follow Biblical principles in all we say and do. Find out ore on our About us page.

Children at Bridge

We are a child-friendly church. Children and babies are welcome in the service. We also have volunteers that have completed child safeguarding training and DBS checks that can take children out during the sermon for activities suited to their age group. Find out more on our Kids page.
